A friend of mine has forever been a pasta-making fan but the she was rather restrained with the art because in her previous efforts at pasta-making every one of them was a total tragedy. If you’ve eaten it yourself as I have done from elastic band pastas to sloppy pasta to funny sauces, trust me, you too would not be glad about her hobby. Just latterly while I was mooching at the mall I saw the Kitchen help pasta maker attachments and stand mixer and recalled some of the 50/50 reviews it gained online so I presumed, what the hey may as well give it a try. She was so happy that I presented her something to pimp her terrible pursuit when I gifted her the pasta maker I purchased.
With just the operating instructions to follow, we built the entire machine quite easily. Using the stand mixer, she had already made her pasta dough in five mins. 2 pasta attachments were given with the pasta maker and I discovered one is for rolling and the other for cutting dough into fettucine. Incidentally there are some different Kitchen aid pasta maker attachments that can be purchased. Observing the directions, we divided the pasta dough into three smaller divisions to test every section out. With the hot water waiting, we fed our first batch into the roller, started at thickness one and moved to five for finer sheets. While sprinkling the dough softly with flour to keep from clinging, we wound the dough through one and two a couple of times and once for three, four and five. We produced our first section of pasta after we converted the roller to the cutter, which instantly went into the water. With some sauce our first taste-test was eatable however even if it was rather elastic. So we moved onto the second section and we changed the quantity of times to roll the dough to three times at one, twice at 2 and once for three, four and five. After we boiled it in water, we taste-tested it again and in only the second-try, excellent fettucine. Fortuitously, she was never horrible at her hobby anymore by the final dough segment.
In merely their first try, any newbie or novice pasta maker can make great pasta with the Kitchen aid pasta maker attachments and stand mixer and they’re that straightforward to use. If you have used this machine, you’d also say that it is so simple and sure enough you’d operate it over and over again, I know my chum has.
